Description
PSA O2 Generator Technological Process
There are two adsorption towers loaded with molecular sieve. The clean dry compressed air enters PSA system and the adsorption towers. Compressed air passes through adsorption tower from bottom to top. By principle that molecular sieve has different adsorption to N2 and O2 under different pressure, the N2, H2O and CO2 are adsorbed at surface of molecular sieve, and the unabsorbed O2 is collected as product gas and flow out to the buffering tank from top of adsorption tower. After some time, the adsorbed O2 reaches saturation, and the molecular sieve needs reactivation.After some time, the adsorbed O2 reaches saturation, and the molecular sieve needs reactivation. The reactivation is realized by stopping adsorption step and decreasing pressure in adsorption tower.For saturated adsorption tower, after short time pressure equalization, the pressure shall be decreased to remove adsorbed N2,H2O, CO2, etc. and finish the reactivation process.
The two adsorption tower shall shift for adsorption reactivation to produce oxygen gas at stable flow and purity. The shift iscompleted by automatic control valves under PLC. The performance of PSA plant depends on absorber, carbon molecular sieve,process, equipments structure, and solenoid pneumatic valves, etc. Our PSA plant use PLC of Japan Mitsubishi, molecular sieve specially for PSA oxygen generator, solenoid and pneumatic valve of Germany BURKET.
Oxygen generators are available in 20 standard models with capacity 5-2000 Nm3/h & purity 96%+-3%. PSA generator is designed for 24/7 operation. The touchscreen control has user friendly interface with automatic start/stop function based on gas consumption.
